der eisen is a weird map in general. there was a period shortly after bo3’s life cycle where for some reason charge shots only used 1 ammo. the wisp step for a long time only needed to be done 3 times, but it changed to 4. also the offline feature of needing to upgrade all 4 bows vs only needing as many bows as there are players in online

I’d put ZNS between DE and the giant. There’s really only 1 real EE step on that map and it’s shooting the plane with the AA bullet. Everything else is just natural progression of the map that you’d do anyways. (Other than getting the other cogs, but those are way too easy to get)

The story behind the story of BO1 modded zombies is cool imo. For a very very long time, there weren’t any mod tools for Zombies due to the tools being lost on 3Arcs side if I remember correctly. So, for a while, there weren’t any maps, up until someone either managed to find them, or reverse engineered the MP tools to make a community made tool to create Zombie maps. After that, there were only very very few maps, that were either proof of concept for the tool or WaW map ports. Glad to see that just like WAW Zombies, BO1 Zombies is getting maps and mods still. (If I got the history of the ZM mod tool wrong, so let me know, as it’s been YEARS since I’ve read up on it, and what I’ve mentioned was a retelling of what I’ve heard as the reason for the lack of BO1 ZM maps) Edit: my sleep deprived ass needs to stop using keyboards. “The story behind the story” lmao. IW zombies is literally the best zombies mode from any COD developer, it is SOOOOO underrated. Criminally so. It has a phenomenal super EE, customizable wall buys and mystery box purchases, directors cut, and personality that is out of this world! Please don't stop uploading IW content, there is so much to be done with this game, the amount of love and care the developers put into it is so aparant when playing.

Just curious, does anyone else find the cold war zombies hud to be annoying? Specifically with how the point gain is shown. In the older zombies modes we had the bottom right number ticking away in our peripheral. But in the recent zombies iterations we have the point gain shown right in the middle of the screen forming a massive text wall, as well as the medals on the top. I always found it frustrating as I wanted to see the zombie glob I just trained going down, not a block of text telling me good job, have a key jingle.
